I believe yoga is for everyone. When I was first introduced to yoga, it was all about the physical workout. After suffering a tragic loss within our family, I eventually returned to my mat, but quickly discovered the workout became a "workin." Yoga delivered me from my grief and gently guided me through personal discovery, acceptance and letting go. I developed a passion and an overwhelming desire and purpose to share the gift of yoga, so I became a yoga teacher.

My approach to teaching yoga is to support and empower my students by giving them a head-to-toe workout while cultivating presence, breath, focus and awareness. I teach balance, stillness, and connection to Self. My students become stronger and more flexible, both physically and mentally, as they are guided along their journey to physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation, both ON and OFF their mat. I weave into my classes bits of inspiration and provide examples of living your yoga practice. I teach to the 8 Limbs of yoga, believing in meditation, awareness, self-inquiry and continual learning and unlearning.

My students have shared that they feel stronger, inspired, happier, more confident, peaceful and positive from taking my yoga classes. Overall, our yoga practice helps to improve our way of being.

I teach Power Yoga, Baptiste Journey Into Power, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Flow, Yin, Yoga Nidra and Beginners’ Yoga. I teach virtual classes through this website, in person classes, private sessions, workshops, lead personal development programs and yoga teacher trainings. I plan to lead yoga retreats in the near future.

I have completed Level One Journey Into Power, Level Two Sannyasin's Journey, the Art of Assisting Program, and the 40 Days to Personal Transformation Facilitation Training all through the Baptiste Institute. I value connection, am authentic, convivial, and have an attitude of gratitude. I remain a student of yoga and believe the best teachers remain students. When not teaching or involved in my own yoga practice, I enjoy traveling, writing, reading, and creating. I make natural stone and crystal bracelets that are worn all over the world. I love my family, especially my grandkids, my friends, music, sunshine, sunsets, and being near, on or in the water.

Some of my favorite quotes are:  Don’t postpone joy. Choose peace over being right. Set intentions and live with intention. Challenges are opportunities. All experience is useful.
